Introduction & AI

Salary.com’s Data as a Service APIs leverages our robust CompAnalyst Market Data, Job Posting, Skills, and various labor market statistics datasets.

The core API at the center of this is our Job Match API. This API uses proprietary AI models we have trained on hundreds of millions of job titles and job descriptions over multiple years in order to find an accurate job match to our CAMD taxonomy when given certain elements of a job.

Once a match is found, the confidence rating of the match is returned, as well as various data elements configured to the scope of the API credentials used to call the API.

We also offer the option of fine-tuned AI models tailored to your specific job architecture. With this approach, you do not have to alter your internal job structure and can rest assured we will return the most accurate match and corresponding compensation data.

Common use cases for the Job Match API are:

(i) Add accurate salary ranges to job postings in order to attract the best talent and comply with emerging Pay Transparency Laws.

(ii) Programmatically get real compensation insights for use in internal products and for consulting engagements (Recruiting, Staffing).

(iii) Build new or enhance current product offerings with a real and proven job and skills taxonomy.

Not all APIs and data is publicly listed. Please contact partnerships@salary.com in order to discuss any custom needs.
